Gottfrid Norberg Waxin is a 31-year-old guitarist born in Sweden who started off playing bass at 6 years old in various school orchestras. Gottfrid later joined a jazz big band under the name of Flora Big Band and played with them for many years. It wasn’t until the age of 16 when Gottfrid first picked up the guitar, and a couple of years later, started to take practicing seriously, which led him to join different types of metal bands. At this point, Gottfrid was heavily into technical metal and he joined the technical death metal band, Deathbreed.
Gottfrid left the band to pursue teaching full time for 7 years. In addition to the music school, Gottfrid also does masterclasses and other lectures at other schools and events. Currenty, Gottfrid is regularly recording and releasing his own instrumental music.
